Prof. Nikkil Sudharsanan, PhD, MPH
Nikkil is a behavioral and population health scientist. His research examines ways to use behavioral science to improve the effectiveness of health care and health messaging. Most of Nikkil's work focuses on South and Southeast Asia and the United States.

Caterina Favaretti, MSc
Caterina is a PhD researcher in the Professorship of Behavioral Science for Disease Prevention and Health Care. She works on using behavioral economics to study current global health challenges. Previously, she worked on the impact of digital global health education interventions on health-promoting behaviors at the Heidelberg Institute of Global Health. Caterina holds a Masters in Economics from the University of Heidelberg.
Vasanthi Subramonia Pillai, MSc
Vasanthi is a PhD researcher in the Professorship of Behavioral Science for Disease Prevention and Health Care. She works at the intersections of behavioral and development economics. Her doctoral research will involve applying behavioral economics to issues in global health and disease prevention. She has experience working with a range of other thematic areas such as poverty and cognition, habit formation in informal labor markets, and dynamics of political communication on whatsapp. She also enjoys exploring questions in the fields of political economy, and gender and identity economics. Vasanthi holds a Masters in Economics from the University of Warwick.
