Development and evaluation of health literacy quality indicators for population-based interventions for promoting (Qualindo-HLGK)
The aim of the project is to develop quality indicators for the evaluation and development of interventions/promotion measures to strengthen health literacy (HL) in community environments (e.g. municipalities, daycare centers, schools, digital settings) and the population groups that are present there (children, adolescents, adults). The focus lies on health promotion and prevention interventions.
The basis for the development of the quality indicators will be a systematic literature review and the involvement of experts within a Delphi process as well as a workshop with an advisory board, mainly engaged in field work. The developed quality indicators will be published in the form of a checklist and serve as a low-key aid for actors in the field of health promotion and prevention as well as for the work of the BZgA (e.g. for the evaluation of external measures or the development of own measures).
The quality criteria will be specified within a “Living Document” and subjected to systematic and continuous development through a participation-oriented process. The advantage of a living document is that adjustments and changes can be made and agreed at any time based on new scientific findings and/or feedback from practitioners and researchers.
