New EXIST Startup Project “Zura Health Os” Joins the Professorship of Didactics in Sport and Health
The Professorship of Didactics in Sport and Health at the Technical University of Munich welcomes a new startup project supported by the EXIST Business Start-up Grant.
The project Zura, founded by Amir Zahiri, Mahsa Iraniara and Ali Khalili., focuses on the development of an AI-supported digital platform for personalized fitness and health coaching.
Zura Health OS is an AI-based health platform that integrates wearables, nutrition, sleep, mental health, and movement into an adaptive "Health Operating System." At its core is a 24/7 AI coach ("Zura Voice") that uses multimodal data analysis (computer vision for form and posture analysis, personalized training and nutrition plans, and early detection of fatigue and injury) to provide individualized, preventive recommendations.
The project aims to leverage advances in artificial intelligence and data-driven coaching to make personalized fitness support more accessible and scalable. During the EXIST funding period, the team will focus on building the platform, validating the product with early users, and developing the technological infrastructure required for AI-assisted personalization.
More information about the project can be found on the startup’s website
The team is hosted at the Professorship of Didactics in Sport and Health and will work closely with the research environment to further develop the project.
