Sports psychology receives awards for teaching and thesis

At the graduation ceremony on January 29, 2026, the Sports Psychology Unit was honored twice.
Julia Schwender received the teaching award for the best exercise in 2025, making her the third person from our working group to win this award.
In addition, student Estelle Muller was honored with the Dr. Gertrude Krombolz Prize for her bachelor's thesis entitled: “Identification of factors influencing mental health and performance in elite female basketball – an interview study.”
This prize has been awarded by Dr. Gertrude Krombolz since 1998 and recognizes theses that combine theory and practice in a special way.
