Our location

at Campus D - "Uptown Munich" is part of the building complex at the base of the "O2" skyscraper located within the western vicinity of the "Olympiapark". You can reach us by public transport or by car via the Georg-Brauchle-Ring.

... by public transport

  • arriving at Munich central station ("Hauptbahnhof HBF"): buy a "M" single ticket ("Innenraum" city centre; currently € 3,50) and take underground line U1/U7 (green line) to "Olympia-Einkaufszentrum". Leave the train at the second to last station "Georg-Brauchle-Ring" and take the stairs at the end of the train. At the top of the stairs, turn left and take the station exit signposted as "Bus 175 Richtung Ludwigsfeld". Follow the pedestrians walk towards the O2 skyscraper. Campus D (Georg-Brauchle-Ring 62) is at the far end of the buliding complex on the left hand side. There you will find us on the third floor.
  • arriving at Munich airport ("Franz Josef Strauss" airport): buy a "M-5" single ticket (currently € 12,30). You have three options now:

Option 1 (takes a quite bit longer but involves one train change only): take local train line S8 to "Herrsching". Leave the train at Munich central station and follow the instructions above (U1/U7 to "Olympia-Einkaufszentrum"). 

Option 2 (involves two train changes): take local train line S1 to "Ostbahnhof" and leave the train at "Moosach" station. Walk down the train towards the end of the platform and take the escalators/ lift down into the underground train station. Coming down the escalator turn right and take another flight of stairs down to the platform level. Board underground line U3 to "Fuerstenried West" and leave the train 2 stations later at "Olympia-Einkaufszentrum". Get one level up by taking the stairs at the end of the platform (walk towards end of train). The stairs/escalator will lead you straight to the departure platform of the underground line U1 to "Mangfallplatz". Take the U1 for the next stop at "Georg-Brauchle-Ring". Take the stairs at the front of the train. At the top of the stairs, turn left and take the station exit signposted as "Bus 175 Richtung Ludwigsfeld". Follow the pedestrians walk towards the Uptown Munich skyscraper. Campus D (Georg-Brauchle-Ring no. 62) is at the far end of the building complex on the left hand side. There you will find us on the third floor.

Option 3 ("Indiana Jones"; may take a bit longer than Option 2 and involves a change from train to bus but will make you proud): take local train line S1 to "Ostbahnhof" and leave the train at "Fasanerie" station. Find the bus stops and take the bus no. 175 to "Georg-Brauchle-Ring". Nine stops later, get off the bus at "Gaertnerstrasse". You will arrive at a bus stop on the northern perimeter of the Uptown Munich building complex. All building entrances are on the opposite side of the buildings as seen from the bus stop. Campus D (Georg-Brauchle-Ring no. 62) will be on your left hand side, located on Gaertnerstrasse. There you'll find us on the third floor.

 

... by car

coming from the north on the motorway A9, exit 76 M-Schwabing/München/A95/Mittlerer Ring West. Follow B2R (Petuelring), after about 3 km turn right into "Riesstraße", then immediately turn left into "Gärtnerstraße". After 50m you reach the outbuildings of the Uptown Munich building complex. You are now at the back of the buildings, all entrances are on the opposite side. Our facilities are in the easternmost outbuilding located at the Gärtnerstrasse. Entrance is at Georg-Brauchle-Ring no. 62 (Campus D). There you'll find us on the third floor. Please contact us if you would like to park in the garage.
