Between 15 and 19 August, the first Daylight Academy Summer School "Measuring Light and Illumination" took place in Chexbres Switzerland. The summer school was supported by the Daylight Academy . A total of 17 students came from all over the global to learn about measuring light from an interdisciplinary perspective. The starting point was the cyanometer, an 18th-century instrument for capturing the colour of the sky developed by Horace-Bénédict de Saussure. A booklet documenting the summer school is in preparation.
