Motor neurorehabilitation - new book chapter published as part of the handbook Sport and Sport Science

The Sports and Sports Science Handbook offers a complete overview, including sports medicine, in the volume Sports Motor Skills, Movement and Training. With their own chapter on motor disorders, Nina Rohrbach and Joachim Hermsdörfer provide insights into the most common forms and consequences of neurological diseases (e.g., stroke) as well as existing rehabilitation approaches.

The chapter provides insight into the clinical manifestations of motor deficits, their basic neurological mechanisms, learning principles and therapeutic strategies. In particular, the contribution is intended to help young scientists and therapists to gain a basic understanding of the topic.
