The TUM4Health Team led by Johanna Schmickler (Professorship of Didactics in Sport and Health) invited us to take part in the German Sleep Day 2022 on 21st June at the Prevention Center for Sport and Health Sciences at TUM. Participants joining the TUM4Health Day could take part in an active break with sports equipment, and were able to find out more about their chronotype, chronobiology and sleep health.
At our Chronobiology & Health stand, visitors could also take home our scientific comic book „Enlighten your clock – How your body tells time“ edited by Prof. Dr. Manuel Spitschan on circadian rhythms, sleep and the influence of light exposure. Interested students and visitors had the chance to take part in one of our survey on light exposure behaviour and get information and individual coaching with sleep problems using a Telegram chatbot that our guest researchers Dr. Sonya Lagutina (TUM-IAS Ukraine Fellow) und Georgiy Abdryakhimov from Ukraine have developed to target sleep problems in an accessible and easy way.
Sad to have missed out? Want to know more? Then take part in our study or have a look at our chatbot, too!
