Teaching

The Chair of Epidemiology offers courses for the following study programs at the TUM School of Medicine and Health:

• Bachelor's in Health Sciences
• Bachelor's in Sports Sciences
• Bachelor of Education in Health and Health Care Science
• Master's in Health Sciences
• Master's in Sport & Exercise Science

Our teaching comprises both basic and advanced courses in epidemiology and biostatistics. The offered courses focus on the areas of epidemiology, statistics, and research methods.

Additionally, a colloquium is offered for all doctoral candidates whose thesis is related to a systematic literature review or a meta-analysis. Students writing their Bachelor's or Master's thesis on one of these topics are welcome to join.

Theses

The Chair of Epidemiology offers to supervise Bachelor's, Master's, and Doctoral theses concerning epidemiology, prevention, and biostatistics. If you are interested in writing a thesis in this area, please do not hesitate to contact us. Upon request, we can provide a list of available thesis topics.
