Research in our group follows the different interests of our members. But our interests center around the intersection of three overarching concepts: Stress, Self-Regulation, and Sport and Exercise. We are interested in understanding underlying processes and mechanisms. Considering the person and the situation, we aim to help individuals reduce their stress and enhance their well-being. We are interested in understanding these processes in sports and exercise, not only seeing sports as a test bed for psychological theories.
What we focus on:
- Enhance experience in sports and exercise
- Use psychological interventions
- We use different methodological approaches, qualitative and quantitative, self-report and psychophysiology
