Personal details
As a competitive sport shooter, I learned early on that continuous physical training alone was not enough once the pressure increased. This sparked my interest in the psychological factors that influence performance. I soon came across the phenomenon of “choking under pressure.” Today, my research focuses particularly on how this effect manifests outside of sports – for example, among civilian first responders such as firefighters and paramedics.
My favorite pastime during breaks of less than five minutes is coming up with alternative email sign-offs. And in my free time, I enjoy starting many novels at once – and then not finishing any of them.
