International Symposium "Global Women's Health and Cervical Cancer Prevention"
The Chair of Epidemiology will host an International Symposium on „Global Women’s Health - Cervical Cancer Prevention - The sub-Saharan Africa Perspective" from 23 to 24 June 2022. The Symposium will take place near Munich, Germany, at the TUM Science and Study Center Raitenhaslach.
Cervical Cancer is a preventable disease. Sub-Saharan Africa carries a high burden of cervical cancer disease. Over the course of two days, leading experts will present new knowledge and lessons learned on cervical cancer prevention research and implementation for the sub-Saharan Africa context. The aim is to discuss innovative and feasible methods to reach cervical cancer elimination goals in countries facing a high burden of disease within sub-Saharan Africa.
