Last Thursday, Dr. Paulina Wasserfurth from the Professorship of Exercise, Nutrition and Health hosted a lunch talk with Prof. Stuart Phillips who gave a talk with the title "Mechanisms of Human Exercise-Induced Skeletal Muscle Hypertrophy: From the Gym to the Lab." The event took place online via Zoom. With 155 registrations, Prof. Phillips' talk received a lot of attention. The virtual audience consisted not only of listeners from TUM but included guests from all over Germany as well as abroad.
Prof. Phillips talked about mechanisms of exercise-induced skeletal muscle hypertrophy and explained the role of protein intake.
