Torsten M. Bollweg conducts research on health literacy in childhood. More precisely, he is investigating how subjective health literacy, so the perceived difficulty of dealing with health-related information, can be measured in children aged 9 to 10 and how different living environments affect the acquisition of health literacy over the course of life.
As research fellow, he was in charge of the reseach project MoMChild from 2018 to 2022 and then for the follow-up project HL-Kids-NRW, which are both subprojects of the "Childhood and Adolescence" (HLCA) research network.
Torsten Bollweg studies educational science at the Goethe Univerity of Frankfurt and the University of Bielefeld, where he is currently pursuing his doctorate.
