Recommendations for Bachelor’s and Master’s theses
For Bachelor’s theses, we recommended to conduct literature analyses (all types of reviews possible). In justified cases, empirically driven bachelor theses may be possible.
Master's theses are usually based on empirical studies either developed and conducted by the candidate or based on research that is being carried out by the Professorship of Health Literacy. Studies can be based on qualitative and quantitative research methods (data collection and analysis). On selected research questions, it is possible to carry out systematic reviews and meta-analyses.
Specific suggestions regarding topics, including contact information, can be found on the bulletin board.
Research colloquium
If you are writing your thesis based on studies we conduct or use our existing datasets from previous studies, we offer research colloquia. Colloquia represent a highly interactive teaching and learning environment that supports you purposefully in the execution of your research. You will get the necessary know-how and expertise knowledge regarding the structure and preparation of your thesis. This offer addresses students conducting research advertised on the bulletin board.
