Transfering credits from other universities

Learning agreements

If you acquired course credit from other universities and want to transfer them to the transcript of record at your bachelor or master thesis at TUM, please contact us as soon as possible (e.g., before you go abroad). This allows us to certify that the course credit can be transfered to TUM. A learning agreement ensures that you will be able to get the course credit when you will be back at TUM.

Checking the equivalence of learning results

Please fill in the formular that shows which courses you would like to transfer. (Please download the formular of your respective bachelor or master program). Hand in the fully completed form to the Chair of Sport and Health Management (see contact below). Credits will be transfered if there is an equivalence of learning results between the courses. The transfer system includes credits that have been obtained from a university in Germany, a distance-learning institution in Germany, and any university from abroad.

Credits und grades

If the equivalence of the learning performance is confirmed, you get an amount of credits that corresponds to the course offered by the TUM. The grades by the home institution are relevant. If the grading of other universities differs from the grading that is used at the TUM, the grades will be converted by a formula (compare APSO §16 (6)).
