Siemen Kampen-Schmidt née Schmidt

Professional career
Dr. Siemen Kampen-Schmidt studied sports management at the German Sport University Cologne and the SRH University Heidelberg. The focus of his studies was on financing, accounting and corporate strategy in professional sport. During his studies, Siemen Kampen-Schmidt worked for the management consultancy Kienbaum and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in South Africa, among others.
From 2017-2022, he worked as a management consultant for KPMG and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Düsseldorf and, most recently as a manager & authorized signatory, was responsible for the strategic, operational and financial restructuring of companies in crisis.
Since 2022, he has been Senior Advisor to the CEO at the premium fashion brand FALKE, advising the CEO on strategic issues and heading the Project Management Office.
Forschungsinteressen
As part of his dissertation, Siemen Kampen-Schmidt dealt with the strategic restructuring of soccer companies. His research focuses on the effects of increasing customer and fan centricity on the behavior of soccer fans in Germany.
