Research interests
Daniela Moirano’s research focuses on the psychological drivers underlying pro-environmental consumer behavior, including both the adoption of sustainable consumption choices and efforts to reduce overall consumption. A particular emphasis of her work lies in social comparison processes and how individuals evaluate their own behavior relative to others when making environmentally relevant decisions. She is further interested in the emotions associated with adopting more sustainable lifestyles. Methodologically, her research relies on survey-based and experimental approaches.
