SUSTAINABLE HEALTH
We bear the responsibility for the future of man, society, and nature!
To enable future generations to meet their needs, sustainable action is essential (WCED, 1987). Therefore, the United Nations defined a total of 17 global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in the 2030 Agenda.
Sustainable Development Goal 3 (SDG 3) "Ensure healthy lives for all at all ages and promote their well-being" forms the basis for numerous initiatives and research projects in science, business, and industry. It requires global and interdisciplinary collaboration and communication and is essential to ensure the prerequisite for a good quality of life, for this and future generations.
The 3rd interdisciplinary summit "Future of Health - Sustainable Health" enables an interdisciplinary, scientific discourse on current topics of sustainable health research. National and international challenges in the development of sustainable health structures will be highlighted to jointly develop scientifically-based and application-oriented approaches to solutions.
Topics:
- October 11, 2023: Why sustainability matters in health
- October 12, 2023: Sustainable nutrition
- October 13, 2023: Chronobiology and health / Technical innovations and sustainable health.
