The Workshop
At the invitation of Prof. Dr. Oliver Koll, Professor of Marketing at the University of Innsbruck, five research groups from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria met as part of the international workshop on the topic of “Green Choice and Sustainable Consumption”. The topic of the workshop was insights into promoting the circular economy and consumption-reducing practices.

“The boutique format, combined with activating morning yoga sessions, enabled a deep dive into each topic presented,” reports Assistant Professor Dr. Mathias Streicher. Daniela Moirano presented her findings on “Feeding Change: Explaining the Adoption of Sustainable and Healthy Diets” and Jennifer Yang presented her findings on “Conceptualization and Item Development for a Healthy Cooking Scale”. Teams from the University of Innsbruck, University of Duisburg-Essen, University of St. Gallen and Paris Lodron University of Salzburg also presented. The joint hike to the Umbrüggler Alm was the final highlight of the workshop.
