Dr. Michaela Soellner

Professional career
Michaela Soellner graduated in Business Administration (B.SC.) at LMU Munich. She obtained her master´s degree in the international studies Consumer Affairs (M.Sc.) focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship at TU Munich. Afterwards she worked at mytheresa.com. Michalea Soellner is an active runner and likes skiing as well as hiking. Since beginning of 2018, Michaela Soellner is a PhD student at the Chair of Sport and Health Management. In March 2021, Michaela Soellner successfully completed her PhD with the following topic: "Paving the way for medical AI: Consumer response to artificial intelligence in healthcare".
Research interests
In her research Michaela Soellner focusses on opportunities and challenges of the digital transformation of health management (digital health) from the viewpoint of various actors. She is dealing with the role of big data for patients, physicians, companies and research. Also, she is interested in current topics and questions with regard to innovation and innovative technologies and their influence on health behavior.
