Animal studies suggest that ageing can be treated like a disease. But what about human longevity trials? Should future physicians treat ageing, a natural process? Is it the ultimate disease prevention? Is it ethical? This symposium aims to start a debate on this topic. The keynote speaker is Prof. Dr. Vijay Yadav, Columbia University, New York, the senior author of a Science paper in 2023 that identified taurine as a driver of ageing.
