The TUM Campus at the Olympic Park
You can find the Department Health and Sport Sciences buildings in the north of Munich on Campus D and C, at Georg-Brauchle-Ring 60/62, as well as at the TUM Campus in the Olympic Park. The two sites can be reached both quickly and easily by way of the central ring (Mittlerer Ring) and via the public transport system. The unique location near and in the Olympic Park offers an excellent infrastructure and exceptional recreational value.
The TUM Campus in Olympiapark is the main location of the Department of Health and Sport Sciences. Starting from November 1, 2024, the address will be "Am Olympiacampus 11," and access is directly via the Mittlerer Ring (see directions). This is where the staff of some Chairs, the Applied Sports Sciences, additional laboratories, the practical sport facilities and the university sports are located. The Uptown Campus is currently still home to the majority of the Chairs, Institutes and units with their laboratories, as well as the School-administration. Both locations can each be reached from the appropriate U-Bahn (subway) stop in about ten minutes by foot when using either the U1 or U3 train, respectively.
Through the public transportation system, other Schools/Departments of the TUM in different locations have short-distance connections as well.
Campus C & Campus D
The buildings on Campus C & D are located directly beside the O2 Tower at Georg-Brauchle Ring 60/62. To reach us by car, drive into Gärtnerstraße. The entrance to the underground car park is located at Gärtnerstraße 88. Here you will also be able to find more parking opportunities. On Georg-Brauchle-Ring, you will have no opportunity to park your car. With the public transportation system, we recommend that you take subway line U1 (stop: Georg-Brauchle-Ring).
