Exercise can improve your health, and reduce your risk of developing various diseases like diabetes, cancer, cardiovascular disease, depression and, in older people, sarcopenia. Exercise can have immediate and long-term health benefits. On July 8, Gabryela Kuhnen, PhD student at the Chair of Exercise Biology, held a talk about exercise and health for the Brazilian community in Munich. They intensively discussed the importance of practicing physical exercises regularly in search of health rather than aesthetic standards, showing case studies and scientific evidence. Gabryela has already worked with the Brazilian community, talking about women's race training and physical exercise in the female hormonal cycle.
Regular physical exercise is one of the most important things you can do for your health!
