On May 23, 2025, Katharina Sterr was given the opportunity to present her current research at the 4th International Conference on Current Issues in Coincidence Analysis (CNA), held at the National Research Center for the Working Environment, University of Copenhagen.
In her talk, “Pre-selecting Factors for Future CNA: A Qualitative Study on Key Contextual Factors in School Health Promotion Implementation & an Outlook on a CNA Application,” Katharina presented qualitative preliminary work and a methodological concept for applying Coincidence Analysis (CNA) in implementation research within the field of school health promotion. CNA is an innovative configurational method that is increasingly being used to analyze causal relationships in complex systems.
The interdisciplinary conference brought together experts from public health, organizational research, healthcare, economics, and other fields. The exchange with leading CNA methodologists and applied researchers provided valuable insights for advancing her work. Following her participation in the CNA workshop in Chicago in 2024, this was Katharina Sterr’s second intensive contribution within the CNA network. She looks forward to further developing her research as part of the All Things Configured community.
