Brief information about the training
The TU Munich performs the state examination for ski and snowboard instructors. The training to become a state-certified ski instructor and a state-certified snowboard instructor has been delegated to the German Ski Instructor Association, which carries out the training courses with its trainer team. More detailed information on the association and its courses can be found under www.skilehrerverband.de
Training courses
The training begins with a suitability test that is already carried out by the German Ski Instructor Association. At the end of the training, the candidates then undergo a state-approved ski instructor examination involving practice, teaching-suitability and theory, in order to obtain the title of being a "state-certified" instructor.More detailed information on the examination and the regulations can be found in the examination regulations which are available for download.
