“Despite the huge progress and improvement in the health sector in the last few decades, I believe, it is one of the fields that is always dynamic and can always be better. So, I want to be a part of this field contributing to health maintenance and its improvement.”
After completing higher Secondary education from my home country Nepal, I wanted to take the challenge of studying in a different environment from my homeland. Also, I wanted to achieve a higher quality of education and more opportunities. TUM was the perfect decision for me, as it is one of the top universities in the context of research, interdisciplinary education and innovation. Plus, I love Munich city and its culture.
I have always been interested in Natural Science and Research. So, I am very glad that I am able to study Health Science at TUM. The faculty members and fellow students are great, friendly and helpful here. Despite the huge progress and improvement in the health sector in the last few decades, I believe, it is one of the fields that is always dynamic and can always be better. There is no denying that the pandemic last year had a challenging impact on everybody’s life. Mainly, I struggled to maintain a healthy lifestyle, balancing my social and financial condition and not being able to visit my parents. Nevertheless, on the bright side, in the process of overcoming these problems, I’ve learnt a lot. I hope this pandemic will end soon and we’ll retain the learnings from this difficult time, which provide us with a mindset of preparedness and prevention for the future. I can’t wait to go out with friends more often without being insecure and meet new fellow students once everything becomes normal again.
